Who We Are
DiGiorgio Associates Incorporated is an award winning Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design firm specializing in healthcare design. Throughout our 30+ years in business, DAI has worked with clients to develop innovative solutions for a variety of buildings types, project sizes, and budgets.
What We Do
We have made it our mission to be an organization dedicated to creating innovative and appropriate design solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ needs.
With our primary areas of expertise in healthcare and senior living, DAI’s philosophy is based upon the understanding that every client is potentially our own care provider. Our clients are entrusted with the safeguarding of lives and, by selecting DAI, entrust us with providing services that facilitate this mission. We serve every healthcare facility as if we might one day be a patient and every senior living facility as if we might one day be a resident. It is this philosophy that helped create long-standing relationships with our clients, many of which have spanned three decades.
How We Do It
We call our approach “design empathy“. As our industry evolves, we learn to identify the concerns and requirements of our clients and to balance their needs with those they serve.
Our family of companies is principally comprised of DiGiorgio Associates Inc. (DAI), devoted to providing planning, architecture, engineering, and interior design services, all in-house, along with Monitor Builders Inc. (MBI), a construction management specialist. Together, we form a powerful team committed to fulfilling the ultimate goals of your project. The principals and staff have a long standing record of consistently providing imaginative solutions to our clients based on a comprehensive and thoughtful consideration of function, feasibility, cost, value, aesthetics and scheduling.
DAI was founded in 1984 by Domenic DiGiorgio and John Weaver, followed by the founding of MBI in 1988 with John Hughes and Steve Kovacs. Our headquarters is located in Boston, Massachusetts, with a satellite office in Portland, Maine.
