Since the completion of our first major project with Lakes Region General Hospital in 1988, DAI and MBI have updated the Master Facility Plan and completed projects for Women’s Services, MRI, Renal Dialysis, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Psychiatry, Special Procedures, and the expansion of Ambulatory Surgery to name a few.   Other projects include the expansion of the ED, a renovation and addition for their Women’s Center, and renovation of the Walk-In Clinic.

Our largest project to date with LRGH was the design of a new state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot, 6-story patient tower. The new lobby and patient registration area have connections to the on-campus Medical Office Building. The upper floors include a new 20-bed Elder Care Medical/Surgical Unit and 15-bed  Intensive Care Unit with an adjacent five-bed Progressive Care Unit.  All other multi-bed rooms were converted to single bed rooms.  This design initiative allows LRGH decreased staffing costs and improved professional recruiting results for physicians and nurses.
